Their two children Rahul and Sonia are well settled in USA. Earlier the family would reunite 2-3 times a year; either the parents would go to the US or their children would visit. But now as the couple is getting older and the children are getting busy with their lives, they are finding it difficult to meet each other.<\/p>\n<br>\n<p>Residents at Ashiana Senior Living Bhiwadi.<\/p>\n<br>\n<p>Keerti, a diabetic for the last 7 years, had a heart attack few months ago, and has been asked not to travel. Their children lead a busy life, juggling between job, bills, mortgages and kids. They have not been able to travel to India as much as they would have liked to and support their parents during these trying times. Hence, they actively start looking for some way to assist their parents locally.<\/p>\n<br>\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-gallery columns-1 is-cropped wp-block-gallery-1 is-layout-flex wp-block-gallery-is-layout-flex\"><li class=\"blocks-gallery-item\"><figure><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.ashianahousing.com\/real-estate-blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/06\/blog-image-7.jpg\" alt=\"\" data-id=\"2167\" data-link=\"https:\/\/www.ashianahousing.com\/real-estate-blog\/silver-parents-step-beyond-the-conventional-family-support-system\/blog-image-9\/\" class=\"wp-image-2167\"\/><\/figure><\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n<p><strong>Rahul and Sonia get talking \u201cMa and Pa are both growing old and are leading a very dormant life. They need more support than ever. Who can we trust in a city like Gurgaon for their daily old age needs? We must do something.\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n<br>\n<p>Sonia who hasseen one senior living project inthe US and was impressed with the kind of lifestyle seniors were enjoying.
